Carli captures dogs as they’re shaking off water, but it’s their expressions that make this series truly priceless. As she describes, they’re “images of man’s best friend caught in contortion: hair wild, eyes darting, ears and jowls flopping every which way.”

Adorable Photographs Of A Tiny Baby Squirrel Resting In Odd Places

While working in Sri Lanka, BBC documentary filmmaker Paul Williams nursed a baby squirrel after it got separated by its mother.

Although Williams tried to return the squirrel by leaving it in a tree, the adorable little critter still remained there the next morning.

Grandmothers Cooking Around the World

Photographer Gabriele Galimberti, already author of “Toy Stories Photography” travelled in 58 countries to photograph grandmothers in the kitchen, joined the specialty prepared by each. A series called “Delicatessen With Love” is to discover pictures in the article.

“This picture was taken after the growth by CVD of silicon nanowires on a copper foil with gold on top. When I saw it I remembered the perturbation caused by sun storms on magnetic field of the earth. These nanowires will be used to manufacture anodes of ion-Li batteries,” says photographer Isidoro Barriga (magnification: 20,000x).
